Create .SVG file from inputted text

I'm having trouble with what seems to be a basic use-case, and after some research figured I'd try my luck here in the discussion board.

I'm trying to create a dynamic SVG file based on text a user inputs within a Windows Forms application. I'd like to set the text, font, size, color and produce a final .SVG file.

Could someone help point me in the right direction or share similar code?

You can only create a format if you understand it. So the right place to start is to read a book on SVG or the specifications of the SVG.
SVG is simply XML and .NET framework provides you all the classes to write out any XML format, but you must understand what you are trying to write.
